'Perfect location (two minute walk to daughter's house); excellent breakfasts, particularly the porridge; fun pub downstairs, loved a cappella rehearsal.'

'Nice little hotel with excellent service and comfy bed. Would stay there again. Just missing a parking. '

'We arrived late and were met by amazing helpful staff that not only stayed late to check us in but also helped us upstairs with our bags. The room was perfect, beds were comfy and bathroom was very nice. Breakfast the next morning was great, fruit, cereal, pastries and coffee for £10. Highly highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet and cozy stay in wales.'

'This was are third visit to the gladstone, Gavin and Stephen are brilliant hosts staff are excellent, food ot the hotel is excellent and not to expensive, car parking either side of the hotel. '

'Location was good and also the matras was ok. The Bath and furniture were dated, Bath rust and mold. View from the window on garbage from hotel. We had lots of flies in the room. The TV was not working properly (bad receipt most channels). No soap and shampoo at shower (both empty). No cleanup room and clean towels for 2nd night. We paid for breakfast but was poor. On tables outside in the morning they left all the bottles and glasses. They are not looking after the place. Much much too...

'Lekker eten vriendelijk personeel mooie kamer lekker bed Het enige negatieve is dat er geen kast is om je kleding op te hangen '

'A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area.'

'All was very good'
