For added convenience, communal washers and dryers are located just steps away near the elevator lobby on each floor.

RESORT & AREA:
El Matador Resort, located at 909 Santa Rosa Blvd in Fort Walton Beach, is a premier gated destination on the quiet western end of Okaloosa Island. The resort features a 24-hour security checkpoint and 12 acres of manicured lawns with peaceful walking paths. Guests enjoy two large swimming pools, a full exercise gym, and dedicated his and her spas. For active recreation, there are on-site basketball and tennis courts, plus a large reception hall available for private parties or meetings.
The resort sits on a stunning 30-mile stretch of natural sand barrier known for its "sugar-white" powdery sand and unique emerald green water. These beaches are kept immaculately clean and safe by Okaloosa County authorities. Just a mile away, the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier and the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park offer family fun with performing dolphins, walruses, and penguins.

Parking: Free gated parking is provided for this unit for up to 2 vehicles near your condo. Spaces are uncovered, and unmarked.
Food: A convenience store is just a few minute's hop. For full grocery hauls, you're just a short drive from Publix at Shoppes at Paradise Pointe or nearby Winn-Dixie, making snack time and meal prep stress-free. Dining options near the resort include Beachview Breakfast and Grill just a 2-minute walk away. The Shack, a local staple for waterfront seafood within a short drive of the villa. Also, for a quick and highly-rated lunch, Stewby's Seafood Shanty which serves some of the freshest grilled fish, or try The Gulf which offers a unique outdoor dining experience right on the water. Old Bay Steamer is the go-to spot for those craving massive steamer pots of crab and shrimp. All within minutes.
Beach Service: One set (2 chairs and 1 umbrella) are provided complimentary with your reservation daily between Mar 1 and Oct 31. The beach service vendor will set the chairs up 8am-9am typically. Chairs are typically claimed as guests arrive. You will be able to reserve an available set of chairs with a towel, beach bag, etc. It is recommended that you reserve your chairs early while availability is plentiful. Additional sets may be purchased by speaking with the vendor upon arrival. Private chairs and canopies up to 10'x10' are generally allowed barring they do not interfere with the beach service access and/or view.
Pool: El Matador Resort features two outdoor swimming pools on its 12-acre grounds. One pool is located near the beach, while the second pool is centrally located and heated seasonally. The resort includes a community center equipped with separate indoor whirlpools and saunas for men and women. A fitness center is also available on-site for guest use.

• Early Arrivals - Please plan to arrive at 4pm. If it is imperative that you check in before 4pm, we suggest reserving an extra night. However, you will be automatically notified by email if your room is ready before 4pm. The resort facilities and amenities are available to use while waiting.
