Stayed for 3 nights and it was great.

I like this place. But it needs major upgrades and better communication. What they say is there is a private beach with chairs . What the hotel actually means is there is a short boardwalk (theirs I’m assuming) going to a very public beach. Still not a big issue however to sit with a chair and umbrella it is 42.00 for a full day -(7am- 5:40pm) unless you want to sit on the sand. So I’m not sure that should be included as an “amenities “ as it is not. The elevators are not in good shape at all, I’m certain they are not up to code . And my partial ocean view room couldn’t be seen through the filth on the outside window. So for 3 nights I paid almost a grand.(not including 42.00/day for chairs ) I’m not saying I would never come back but maybe you should not charge for some of the amenities that you offer that are not actual amenities from your hotel.

This was the most relaxing vacation ever! Not everyone in my group likes the beach, so this place offered something for everyone. Bike riding, fishing, nature trails, etc. We will definitely be returning.

The rooms here are beautiful, but the MOST uncomfortable I've ever experienced for a place charging these prices. The bed is extremely hard & after sleeping just a few hours, I woke in extreme pain. I explained what happened & asked if they had any mattress toppers or anything to help - they said no. I asked if all the rooms have the same beds, because 4 more nights of this is going to be excruciating - they said they are all the same. They did not offer any solutions, no extra pillows, blankets for padding - nothing. It's crazy how much I spent to drive over 5 hours to suffer. It ended up costing me $150 from Walmart to buy a mattress topper just so we could sleep. I ended up asking for several pillows, but they never came. When I finally went to the desk to ask about them, they informed me that I was never put on the list for requests. The pool isn't very big for the amount of rooms & customers they've got at one time. It doesn't appear to be cleaned daily because on one day when we went out at 6am, there were still toys scattered around, goggles in the pool, & barrettes in the pool. No one around to enforce the "no jumping" rule when we decided to relax at the pool & parents weren't bothering to supervise. Front desk was informed many times that the pool pump / filter didn't seem to be circulating & cleaning the water. The water was cloudy & had a lot of things floating in it. They said they would send maintenance out, but they came out & barely looked at the water.
