Motels in Stanislaus National Forest

'Voor 1 nacht is het wel te doen.'

'We found this place because we wanted to go to Yosemite. But the village itself and the area have a lot to offer as well, since Mark Twain used to reside here. Murphys is a really nice town with a lot of wine tasting just under 10miles away. We ended up staying 3 nights (instead of 1). To Yosemite its just under 2 hours. The hotel is a bit old but has all the appliances. No breakfast but a grocerystore down the road.'

'Het hotel is centraal gelegen in het stadje Jamestown. De kamer was erg basic en was niet zo grondig gepoetst. We vonden bijvoorbeeld nog een chapstick van de vorige gasten onder de nachttafel. Wel goed genoeg voor 1 nacht.'

'The staff was very friendly, and check-in was quick. The room was clean, though it smelled strongly of cigarettes; it was clear that the previous guest had ignored the "no smoking" sign on the room door—that, however, is not the hotel's fault. The price was affordable compared to other hotels in the area, and you get what you pay for: a clean place to sleep, without any frills.'

'Clean, nice hot shower,'
