'Goed standaard hotel in onze doorreis met een verrassend goed ontbijt.'

'Heel goed hotel. Management was heel goed. Eerste hotel waar ze het fooi probleem voor de kamermeisjes goed hebben opgelost; er ligt een envelop waar je geld in kan doen voor het kamermeisje op naam dat je kamer heeft schoongemaakt; je geeft het envelopje vervolgens aan de receptie af die er voor zorgt dat het geld bij het betreffende kamermeisje terecht komt. Zeer uitgebreid en goed verzorgd ontbijt. Jammer dat de kamers wat gehorig waren; wij konden het telefoongesprek van de man in de kamer...

'The room was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. For those who are afraid of vermin, there was NO SIGNS whatsoever of either bugs or other vermin.. It was CLEAN. This is a place that is no frills, but for what you're paying for you get a lot, and a comfortable place to rest your head. We would absolutely go back when we're visiting the Pittsfield area.'

'My room was clean and fully equipped with fridge and microwave, good pillows and no smell. Breakfast is served for take out in the office including many nuts and fruits. Personnel was a little pushy to write a review, but this good review is well deserved. They provided also multiple free bottles of water and after my hike they allowed me to still use their restroom even though I already checked out. Multiple nice hikes and views in the environment!'

'This is a beautiful, historic property and pretty consistent with the photos on the website. The room I had was just as pretty with some antique furnishings, but of course in person you notice that it is an old building. The room was a great size, and I loved the hardwood floors. The bathroom was also large and you are provided a sundry of items for convenience. The bed was comfortable, though it did seem to have a center depression. The only other issue I had was that though the the showerhead...

'The house is a beautiful New England structure with a variety of rooms to choose from. Our room, the Gold room was luxurious and spacious with great light during the day. The "private bath" is across the hall requiring proper dress to exit the room and enter the bathroom. It's a small point but different nonetheless than in in-room bath. The heating function was a bit tricky since it is an older hot water heat register that takes some time to heat up or down so you need to be mindful of time...
