Hôtel Fieldstone Bluffs, Hollister

« This was a quiet stay in an older hotel with character and charm. It was close to Branson without having to drive thru the traffic. The hotel is older, well maintained and clean. My husband and I stayed for a 2 night quick weekend trip. John at the front desk was very helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The restaurants, 2 breweries, coffee shop and ice cream is all within a short walk within the block. »

« It was welcoming based off the photos provided but our actual experience left a lot to be desired. We didn’t feel safe, the room didn’t feel warm and inviting. Had our stay been longer I would have looked for another place to stay. »

« The staff were pleasant, but the facilities were run down. The breakfast in the morning was good and the staff working that were very good. Our room was only okay. The door had about an inch gap all the way around except by the hinges. When you can see light from the hallway, that isn't very good. Also, the towels were very rough. However, the worst was the pool and the spa. We specifically chose this hotel for those items. We thought the granddaughters would really enjoy them....

« The pictures made the property look nicer than it actually was. Also, it rained as was expected due to a storm. I had a fall in the hall hurting my knee and back due to the water that had accumulated on the floor. I reported this to management and did not think that I needed to go to ER; however, my knee and back were hurt. Not once was I contacted by staff to ask how I was feeling. I made them aware of this again and that no one had contacted to me to check on me before checking out with...

« It's an older building thats been nicely renovated. Can't do much with low ceilings though. Window units without a continuous fan option was the deal breaker. It was affordable, clean and comfortable enough for our one night stay. »
