« Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. « Staff not very friendly (both on check in and check out). It seemed as if they would like to be anywhere except where they were then and there and they did not seem keen to help with anything. The walls are very thin and people speaking in the corridor sound like they are in your room. You can also hear everything outside. « This pub is one of our favourites! We stayed for a second time round on our way to Suffolk from Brittany. The food is superb, location and landscape stunning, accomodation clean and comfy. The staff is always smiling and friendly. What more can one possibly want? Hopefully, we'll be back! »
