'This 3 start tourist class hotel has been around for a long time and is in a prime location in Monterey Park. It is in walking distance to many Chinese/Asian eateries.
Plenty of indoor parking but now charge $7 a day.
Front desk staff is friendly & efficient. The lobby is quite large. The 2nd floor has multiple conference rooms for big events !!!!
My room in the 7 floor is recently refurbished except for the bathroom. Relatively clean & comfortable. AC noise from the 2 floor conference center...

'The room was very cold. The heater could not be set above 80 deg, but the room felt closer to 70 deg. Some guests even had to ask the front desk for extra blankets. The bed was very unstable and shook considerably. There was also a lot of noise coming from the floor above and outside.'

'This hotel has all the basic essentials, including wifi, fridge and microwave (at the reception’s). They don’t serve breakfast but there is a coffee machine in the room and tea at the reception’s office. If needed there’s food and water for sale, of course you can always go to Target’s.
The people are very kind. Room was clean. There’s soap and lotion available. There’s no noise from others. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat.'

'It was a great location to stay. Quit place, protected with a Venice, supermarket near and also several restaurants to have breakfast, lunch and dinner in a few minutes drive. Good distance from LA and more relaxing than to stay in LA.
Welcome was very friendly and state of the apartment was very good. Very nice shower.'

'The hotel is located beside a busy crossing. On the hotel area is a Denny's restaurant which is completely burned down. Five meters beside the hotel!
We arrived two hours early at the hotel. No friendly welcome, only " We have an early check-in fee". Ashley is her name. We left again for the two hours ..
Swimming pool was out of order. We chose this hotel because of that. Our kids love swimming. Nobody warned us.
Hotel rooms and specially the bathrooms need a serious renovation. Leaking taps...

'Hôtel vieillot, mériterai un petit coup de neuf mais mis à part cela rien à dire, le personnel est gentil, l’hôtel (même si manque de modernité est ok). Son atout majeur son prix et la situation ! L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter LA, les studios ou Universal !'

'The room was nice and clean, housekeeping stopped by every day. The street noise on the other hand was a bit much, double glazing could take care of that. And possible opt for a small microwave in the room? Sometimes one just needs a hot snack... '
