« This comfortable, clean house sits close to the village of Millbrook, convenient for dining and a bit of shopping. The house has amenities comfortable for a short or longer stay. The bedrooms are well organized for a family or several friends. In summer the pool, a good size one for the property, is delightful, and the central air conditioning a definite plus given the recent heat spell. The host was immediately responsive to the few questions we had and resolved a couple of minor matters...

« Fallerhof is a cute, quaint cottage in a beautiful, secluded setting. Everything was very clean, and it’s a lovely spot for a quick escape. Two things worth knowing before booking: the owners don't provide a key for you to lock the doors with, and there’s no Wi-Fi. The lack of Wi-Fi is manageable if you're hooked up to a hot spot. « If you are visiting Dover Plains or attending a wedding or other event at Preston Barn this is a great place to stay as it is only 1.5 miles down the road from Preston Barn/Old Dover Inn. The house was very clean and sits on a pretty small river where the bird watching is awesome. « BUYER BEWARE!!! Everything about this place is a lie! It was so bad I didn't go back for my second night stay and the owners would not refund me!! First off it was 23 miles away not 3 from where we were! Second off the twin bed I slept in was about as old as the house itself! Third the bathroom is disgusting chipped paint, dirty sink and tub, and they charged me a cleaning fee! And last but not least the stench from their cat was abhorrent! I thought they owned a mountain lion!! Downstairs...
