'We booked two rooms in the ‘annex’ which despite its name is actually a 5/6 minute walk or a drive away from the main building. Our rooms were dated to say the least, absolutely gross to be honest. They smelt awful, my shower smelt of strong urine until I ran the water for quite some time. The carpet everywhere is old and dirty. 'Simple outdated rooms. Bathroom was not very clean. Showering inside a bathtub, is not of this time, with a shower gurtain. Also not possible to get really hot water inside the shower. bed hard, and not most comfortable. stains on carpet. Overall: not that good'

'The room was functional but the decor was worn and dated. It has been very warm and the windows left open there were dead flies around the window and a couple of small spiders on the ceiling which should have been cleaned away before we checked in.'

'Friendly staff, comfy bed, great breakfast. I personally didn’t like the smell of the shower gel (lavender type smell) but other than that it was great. Staff were lovely and really helpful. Stayed while a festival was on so was very busy and although some food did run out at breakfast time as soon as it was mentioned to staff they replenished it straight away and were so helpful. Great vibes. Would definitely stay again'
