'I assumed I would be staying in a hotel reflective of the pictures shared, however our actual accommodation was in some of the side rooms, in a building that was definitely worse-for-wear. Most of the services that we had expected to be part of the amenities came with an extra charge - from using the gym and pool, to changing rooms because our fan was broken in the middle of a heatwave (they ended up giving us another fan for free). 'Great hotel great location everything in walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful couldn't fault them at all! Biggest disappointment was there was no lift, I had a a 16month old and had to carry buggy up stairs to second floor. When I booked I wasn't made aware there was no lift. I managed, many of the staff offered many times to help carry buggy upstairs for us. I recommend this hotel.'

'Such a lovely location, hotel & grounds are beautiful. We stayed 2 nights, had incredible spa treatments, chilled by the pool & enjoyed dinner both evenings in Stuart restaurant. All staff were welcoming & friendly Breakfast is self service & has all the usual on offer. Quite reasonable at £16 each. Our room only rate of £200 per night was good value but be aware our final bill was over £1000. We did enjoy the cocktails & wine list though 😀'

This market was first granted by charter in 1629 and established in its current form in 1976. While it is a relatively small market, it was very interesting, and we got a couple of lovely items. 'Over het algemeen was het een goede ervaring. Helaas was er niet op voorhand verteld dat de kinderen pas na 10 uur in het zwembad mochten en dat om 10.15 aqualessen zouden zijn waardoor ze maar 15 minuutjes konden zwemmen. '

'Zeer goed middelgroot country hotel. Hotel is zeer oud wat je kan merken aan de golvende vloeren. Hotel is mooi gerenoveerd. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het op een zeer drukke kruising ligt. Wel dubbele ramen. Ontbijt is zeer goed. Vooral als je een Engels ontbijt wil is er heel veel keus. In de bar kan je bijna de hele dag eten bestellen. Zeer ruime keus. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk.
