'The room was very clean, bathroom was modern, the staff was warm and friendly. We enjoyed the live music, evening social hour with drinks and snacks. The location was excellent, and within walking distance to Main Street restaurants and shops. Overall, it was a good stay. I would not hesitate to rebook, if I am in the area in the future.'

'Nowhere on their website did they mention the lake had no water. They were also doing repairs so the walls had exposed wires. The bathrooms are reminiscent of a hospital bathroom. The rooms are poorly lit with no tv. Lots of history in the buildings just very dated rooms. The breakfast was really great.'

'The entire premises were well maintained. It felt like I was in tiny village which was cool. The room was very clean and cozy. The only thing that stood out to me was the smell in the room. It smelt like moisture which made it feel a humid even with AC on blast. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot and would certainly stay here again. It’s very close to town and to many famous hiking spots. There are plenty of eating options whether upscale or laid back. This is a prime location indeed.'

'There was things under the couch and sink I Couldn't identify, objects that I could not reach and didn't really want to. I spilled some lemonade on the floor accidently. I used a hand towel to clean it up and the towel was black. It was obvious the floor had not been mopped. The light in the bathroom was out. Water pressure was very poor. Bath faucet was loose, shower had two settings and sounded like a jet taking off in both. Ancient toilet, very low, had to push the handle down and hold it...

'Excellent staff. Caring and helpful. Clean! Nice breakfast. Spacious king size bedroom. Only issue was the single elevator failed and climbing 3 stories was no fun at all. Fortunately it failed one day ago and not at the start of our weeklong stay.'

'They are trying to renovate an old Victorian house, but really do not seem to have any experience with hotels or B&B's. The room we had was painted poorly with messy paint lines at the trim and paint drips on the floor. The caulking in the shower was comically bad. The shower was quite small. We waiting several minutes for the hot water in the shower and eventually took two back to back cold showers . There was no table or dresser to put our stuff on, so we had everything on the floor. 'Pool area had no clean pool towels . No one in the area checking on this . Stable where horses and goats were had extremely dirty water that looked like it hasn’t been changed in days. Food at the restaurant was below average. Many food items were not available. Prices are very high for what you get . Understaffed. Mosquitoes were all in the pool bathroom and sauna areas. 'It was a peaceful location, I felt like I had all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable better than any high end hotel I’ve been to. I actually felt like I could live there it was great! The breakfast was delicious also'
