The main complaint is there is still old furniture on the patio and rusted and broken drying racks. Otherwise, we'll definitely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Silver Dunes for over thirty years, that tells you how we feel about Silver Dunes. In the front office,Amber, Mary Lou, and Derek, made everything about our reservations was correct ( we have never had a problem). The maintenance crew Andy and Ben, took care of any issue we had. ( one cabinet door messed up). One night the lights over the charcoal grills went out. Ben made sure they were working the next night. We have only positive comments about Silver Dunes and the staff

Great View!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful view!! We have stayed at Silver Dunes many times and never been upstairs. We loved having coffee on the porch! Our two complaints are that the bedrooms need better curtains. We had to buy black trash bags and tape them over the window so our kids wouldn’t wake up at 6am every day. We also felt like there was too much furniture in the condo, making it cluttered.l and very hard to move around with a family. We had a fabulous time at the condo and will return again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the first unit we're rebooking after coming for 7 years. The views are well worth the steps to the top. Nice updates where it matters- flooring, kitchen counter tops and appliances and nice living room seating. The bathrooms could use their touchups, but lots of space in the master. I forgot to put a workorder in, but the master left sink is clogged, otherwise all other plumbing worked great. The unit overall could use some updated decor and the curtains are definitely showing their wear from being pulled on. Multiple curtain panels might work better, lighter and only opening certain sections instead of all or nothing. Patio needs to be cleaned up a bit with the left-over old seating. Bar height table chairs would be great on that back wall, because the extra seating is nice and we actually pulled out the old chairs when we had group dinner night.

Music on Wednesday night was great. Great view from the balcony. The grills were clean. Miss the treasure hunt on the beach and cornhole tournament. Chair rentals were so much easier now that it is online. Only eyesores I saw were rusted outlet covers and the walkway lights were not working and made hard to see the key pad hard to see at night. But every thing was great and had a great week.

Amazing Views!

The 180 degree views were unreal and were the reason I booked the unit. The unit has newer flooring throughout, but the bathrooms are a little dated. Overall, very pleased! It would be hard to go back to an interior unit after staying in C1403.

9th Years Beachin With Family

It’s a private place to stay with not very many condos, therefore you don’t have a crowded place. Things get taken care of quickly if anything comes up during your stay. Excel Beach Services are great! Very accommodating, and easy to work with. I’ve stayed in several condos on property and my gulf view is the most peaceful, best view, heaven on earth condo. You wouldn’t be disappointed with any condo you choose. It’s a gated property too. My boys run around from beach to pool, and I always feel comfortable. Walking distance to several restaurants and shops.

Very frustrating!I am sending this email over to my daughter -in-law. She has a list of issues!Also the sheets on the pull-out couch were dirty when we opened it! I even felt that the sheets in the master bedroom were maybe used. Very wrinkled like they did not bother to straighten them as they made the bed.

Perfect Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our extended family has been coming to the Silver Dunes for over 40 years, so it feels like a second home to all of us. We usually stay in the "sawtooth" section a bit farther back from the beach. This time we took the top corner unit on the the beach and the view was as fantastic as I imagined it would be. That being said, the owners have added a large lounge chair to the patio and the space is very crowded because of this...would be nicer without the chaise. Also, the light fixture in the ceiling of the patio is terribly rusted and needs to be replaced, as well as some touch-up painting of the ceiling for the rust spots.Upon arrival the unit was clean. However, the closet in the second bedroom was full of the owners things, such as bags of Christmas items, etc, and there wasn't much space to put my things. The beds were comfortable. One of the slats on the mini-blinds was broken, so that didn't look very nice. I only mention these things so they can be corrected because we LOVE staying at the Silver Dunes and want the units to show well.As always, George, who runs the beach service, is irreplaceable and we've known him forever. The check-in process went very well and the ladies in the Office are professional and nice.The pool was sparkling clean and it was nice to actually be able to use the pool, unlike in the summer when all the children are in there (my kids were, too, back in the day:)All in all, the Silver Dunes is a great place to stay if you want to be right on the beach and don't want to spend a fortune for a fancy high rise, which is so much less of a personal experience. We love this place and will return soon.
