We have traveled & rented similar properties for over 20 years. We know a good property when we find one. This property was lovely - the view is amazing, it was clean (minus the master shower - see comments below) & the location is good. But the property management makes or breaks the experience despite all the great things the owner offers with their rental property. The property management company for this property was pretty much just so-so. The outlets in both bathrooms were not working, & it took over 24 hours for someone to come fix it. We felt like our request for early check-in was handled very poorly since the on-site person who we spoke to who was inspecting the condo said we could check in about an hour early, but when we called customer service because the door code wouldn't work, the customer service organization was mostly polite, BUT NOT FLEXIBLE at all. They were not understanding of the fact that our daughter had started getting sick on our way to Destin, so we just wanted to get in & let her rest. It was an HOUR before our scheduled check in time, and the condo was ready, but they wouldn't budge on their "policy". Sometimes, you just make an exception because it's Christmas time and your client has a sick child. We finally went to the on-site staff at the building (maintenance), & a kind gentleman let us in. One last thing - There was what looked like mold on the ceiling above the shower in the master. Future renters should ask about this.
