'This is a beautiful, well-appointed property. The owners were helpful and responsive, and we were treated like old friends. They had great recommendations for activities and dining options. The town of Oriental is quaint and has fun places to go, most within walking distance. The ocean is an hour away. Will definitely stay again!'

The desk clerk, Dan was exceptionally helpful in getting us checked in early as we had an event we had to get to before check-in time. He helped us through our stay in various ways. Also, the breakfasts were wonderful and the service staff were friendly and helpful.'

'Mooi gelegen hotel langs onze roadtrip aan de oostkust. We waren met drie personen en hadden een kamer met dubbele bedden geboekt. De kamer zelf was boven verwachting ruim en compleet. Wat wel tegenviel was de staat van de bank, daar zakte je half doorheen, en de vloer was plakkerig en vochtig. Mogelijk iets met de aurco of overnatig zeepgebruik bij schoonmaken. Helaas iets waar we pas achter kwamen nadat we ons hadden gesettled. Omdat we maar één nacht bleven hebben we dit door de vingers...

'Excellent staff! Friendly and gives great advice about what to do in town. Clean rooms. Breakfast was wonderful and quiet. A few things could probably be updated, couch in our room was a little old, but everything was still in good condition. I choose this place over and over again because I always know it will be a great stay. Lots of things to do within the hotel (mini golf, swimming, lounging outside).'

'It was not air conditioning weather, however it did get humid and the air conditioning was hard to control. It would only let us put on the fan. The whole place was nice, clean, and a great family experience. '

'Prima hotel, wel verkeerde kamer eerste nacht maar was snel rechtgezet. Bij schoonmaak werd bed niet opgemaakt en dat was jammer. Ontbijt redelijk, beste was dat je eieren naar wens kon bestellen. '

'The room was good. The floors could use a good mopping but the bathroom was sparkling clean. They do not have a place for towels and washcloths so they have to put them on the sink which gives you no room to put your toiletries and stuff out. '

'Sound side balcony view was amazing. Room was clean and decorated beautifully. The check in staff, night staff and day staff were all welcoming, friendly, and I really enjoyed my interactions with them. They also have a very CUTE little library section that you can borrow a book from!! Kids books as well! '
