  • BOEK 4 nts 8/18 - 8/21 ontvang de 22e GRATIS! Past Offerte met verzoek aan. Een van de twee, 2 BR hutten, op de kreek, hier in de Garden of Eden Cabins genaamd; Creek-side Cottage. Zittend 50 voet boven "Greenbrier Creek", grenzend aan het park! Loop door de glazen schuifdeuren naar de veranda, die is omheind, je krijgt een soort boomhut-effect, met de kreek recht onder! Er is een kleine pick-nick tafel, 4 krukken, glider swing, 2 rockers en BBQ grill! Diervriendelijk (* GEEN xtra $)! Je bent verzonken in de aanwezigheid van de natuur. Met de met mos bedekte rotsen en het geluid van de kreek op het podium. Met het volwassen bos om je heen. Gelegen op 10 hectare, 17 mijl ten NO van Gatlinburg, in een kleine gemeenschap genaamd Cosby. De woonkamer, met glazen schuifdeuren die openen naar het balkon van de cabine, hangt over de kreek, met een picknicktafel, BBQ grill, schommelstoelen en schommel. Cabine is bijgewerkt met een faux stenen open haard met een flatscreen-tv die bovenop de faux houten mantel zit. Het bureau en de oudere tv zijn verwijderd! Zeer geschikt voor 2-4 personen en vergeet niet, uw huisdieren zijn welkom zonder extra kosten! Een privéweg die rond het pand loopt, zodat u door het bos, rond de tuin of tot 2 "gemeenschappelijke" gebieden op de kreek kunt lopen met picknicktafel, stoelen, vuurplaats (brandhout beschikbaar op locatie) en hangmat! Sportvissen (haken zonder weerhaken) op het terrein! Een schilderachtige, relatief onontwikkelde, geen rood licht, bergrit, die precies 25 minuten duurt. naar het centrum van Gatlinburg. We hebben de Cosby Campground / Trail-head Entrance en de Foothills Parkway naar het park op slechts 3 mijl en de Greenbrier en Big Creek (Whitewater Rafting) ingangen op slechts 20 minuten. weg! Een van de beste locaties om toegang te krijgen tot het park, uit de stenen stapelen maar dichtbij genoeg wanneer je niet naar de stad gaat! We hebben verschillende restaurants, 2 Dollar generaals binnen 7 mijl en een Wall Mart binnen 20 minuten. in een "niet - toeristische" stad Newport, Tn.

Met the owner at check-in, he was very knowledgeable concerning the area and hikes we would enjoy. The cabin was very clean and met all of our expectations. Though the cabin is very close to the owner’s residence, because of the trees around us it felt very secluded. The creek running next to the cabin provided a great place to relax, where outdoor sitting and a hammock were provided. The view was gorgeous and the drive from the main road to the cabin provides a winding drive to the property which is beautiful.

Chris was at the cabin to greet us when we arrived. He spent time telling us about the area and we really enjoyed talking with him. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped so that we were able to cook all of our meals. The cabin is simple inside but it’s a beautiful hideaway in the woods with a lovely creek below the cabin. If you open the bedroom window, the sound of the water will lull you to sleep. We highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting to get away to a quiet secluded spot off the beaten track.

Rustic & secluded

We enjoyed our stay! Chris was the best host. He is right next door but it was still very private, surrounded by very natural & untouched forest. Definitely a good choice if you love nature!

Roads are a little scary into the place.but hello waterfalls and creek right outside your cabin and a porch we hardly left.chris was so patient with all my questions and visting 9 grandchildren.you have a full.kitchen to cook so why leave the cabin lol

Wonderful Creekside Getaway!

Pictures and description very accurate! Wonderful secluded cabin perched 100 feet above mountain creek…. The sound of the creek was so soothing and a perfect way to fall asleep! Forget the Gatlinburg crowds and get back to enjoying nature and mountain beauty!

A good escape

Overall, this was a nice little getaway. Far enough from the crowds of Gatlinburg, but still plenty to do if you wish. Going creeking was a great time! Possible bear sightings! Peaceful! Low key house rules, beautiful setting, and friendly owner were also pros. Cons: use your unlimited data; the wifi errors out every time, oven temp is guesswork, limited stove burners. Overall, a quite enjoyable stay!

Creekside Cottage review

This cabin was cozy and quiet. The forest surrounding it is pretty and we enjoyed the sound of the creek right outside. The driveway is quite narrow so it would be difficult for wide vehicles to maneuver. The location was within 30 minutes of all our planned activities. Be sure to check with the owner for key pick-up/drop off instructions as the cabin next door with the Garden of Eden sign is not the office.

Great price, peaceful property!

Property has backwoods feel but is right of the main road. 25 min to gatlinburg 35 to pigeon forge. Even though it was further then we wanted from those areas the rate difference was well worth it. Just an FYI this cabin is within arms reach of the owners personal home (literally), but he was no bother and we barely seen him or anyone else at the property so we did feel secluded. The home definitely needs some updates, we struggled with some of the space heaters and the window unit to the guest room was not working. After tinkering and moving some space heaters around we were able to keep the cabin warm. We were honestly here to eat and sleep we spent all if our free time in gatlinburg etc, but when we were here it felt cozy and safe. Creek view and sound was awesome. Overall nice stay.

Not what we expected,

When we got there it was rough getting to our cabin. Over grown weeds frees, bushes and broken down car and trucks . Trash from the automobiles was all over. The cabin was outdated. The owner lived right next door to our cabin in a run down mobile home. The inside was ok. I have to say it was a comfortable place. But all honesty, it needs alot of work on the property. All the cabins need redone. We not be staying there again the gentleman in charge was nice. But he is old and can't do alot of things on the property. It needs cleaned up.

Garden of Eden

Cottage is in beautiful area. Creek side Cottage was nice, but when I stay next time I would prefer Lullaby. Lullaby is tastefully decorated and has a sweet backyard. It is extremely clean.

Quiet Creekside Seclusion

We had a quiet, restful stay and enjoyed exploring a different part of the Smokeys. The view and sound of the creek from the back porch surrounded by laurel and the occasional glimpse of a hawk was a highlight.

Perfect Weekend Getaway Spot

We absolutely loved our time at the Creekside Cottage. The owner was very accommodating and the cabin was the perfect size for us. It was very easy to find, even in the dark! We loved being greeted by the cat and dog on the property. We didn't bring our dog this time, but now that we see how pet friendly it is, he might have to tag along next time! Cosby is a great town with plenty to do. We visited the Llama farm, had lunch at Doc's Cafe, and shopped at the Yard Art location. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Week in the mountains in the Garden of Edin Cabins

We had a wonderful time!! The peace and serenity of the cabin was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay in the cabin. The best attribute was the back porch overlooking the creek....I can't say enough about the wonderful time that we had. If a family wants to truly get away from people and enjoy simplicity this is definitely the way to go. We enjoyed Mrs. Iva's property so very much. We also enjoyed the visits from her dog and cat as well. I just can't say enough positive about this property. It is simple...it is not a high dollar log cabin but the view more than made up for it. We absolutely loved it!!
