Spacious Rental
We very much appreciated this two story spacious property where each bedroom had its own bath. Kitchen and living areas easily accommodated our family. And the included golf cart and beach gear package made getting down to the beach a breeze. That said, a few details could be addressed that would have made this even nicer. First, although I booked through VRBO, I had to download another app to be able to access documents and information about the rental, which at times was confusing and time consuming for communication. This is the first beach property of several that we have booked in recent years that did not include beach towels. That would have been a nice plus. The rug in the living room could use a good cleaning. My young grandson ran barefoot over it and picked up several sticker burrs soon after we arrived. I picked out at least 6 more. Looking for his scattered cars under the furniture, we found dirty socks (not ours), some chips, and a domino! A small amount of laundry detergent for a couple of loads would be welcome, as would a few basic pantry items, dish cloths, and reusable food storage containers. The listing mentioned travel size toiletries were provided, but we didnât see those. Controllers for the fans and their ceiling lights were missing batteries to operate. Guide for TV use needs to be updated. Arriving at 4 PM and then having to go shop for everything is hard. We brought as much as we could, but it wasnât enough.
