« We loved our stay at Fern Cottage! We felt relaxed, comfortable and at home from the minute we arrived. The pictures do not do it justice.... it was more spacious than we thought and it has such incredible views. There are many wonderful walks from the doorstep, either a quick stroll down to the lakeside or to the mountains (We climbed Barrow and Catbells on our stay!). « Wow, what a stunning property! Magnificent views of the fells in a very peaceful location. The neighbours were extremely friendly :) (field of sheep from all windows) Once we had worked out how to walk back from Keswick to the cottage, (wasn't intuiative at first with the busy bypass) we realised that we could leave the car at home.
