« Whilst the ManorHouse would sleep the number advertised, and certainly has enough crockery and cooking equipment to manage comfortably, we found the whole place to be cramped. Most bedrooms had one or more bed than was comfortable, there actually isn’t enough sofa space for everyone, and the dining table is difficult to use due to being so close to the wall, with no space to move it out. « We stayed for our wedding weekend, it was just what we wanted, although the weather wasn’t great for the weekend we still had a great time, watching the rain dance on the lake and nice chilled days in the swimming pool and spa. « This cottage was the *perfect* home base for a mother-daughter trip for 2 moms and two daughters to celebrate our girls’ graduation from high school. The cottage was absolutely charming, and was comfy and cozy in all the ways that we’d hoped for! It was beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully appointed. « Very lovely place, just how you would picture a countryside cottage to be! Great location. It’s private, tucked away near the entrance of Bourton-on-the-water, away from the crowds that’s visiting the village during the day. We enjoyed the short walk into the center of the village without worry about fighting for parking. It’s a perfect spot to base in the Cotswolds, and convenient to drive around to visit other villages. Highly recommended! »
