It was a cute little home that accommodated my friend and I rather well. It was strange not having a traditional stove/oven, but we made it work. And while the modern shower hardware was cool to see, it was difficult figuring out how to turn the shower head on. The location was very convenient with tons of places to eat and activities nearby. The linens were fresh and clean, but we did have to purchase our own wash cloths. The backyard was decent but the garden chairs were a little dirty and the firepit did not turn on for us. Overall it was quaint stay and the philanthropic efforts of the house was inspiring.
This is a sweet little cottage and the background story as to its origin is wonderful. They provide very nice linens, plentiful and plush towels, and good toilet paper (it matters!). I wanted to give it all 5/5 because the hosts were so friendly and communicative, but the location was a little sketchy (although next door neighbor on one side was very friendly). It's not exactly a private back yard - it is open to the neighbor's. Nice that the hosts left s'mores fixings though! I don't think it would hold 6 adults as listing states unless 2 slept on full size convertible couch together - but we were only 3 of us so the 2 bedrooms were fine for us. A little expensive for the location and size/what you get, but overall, a clean, well decorated cottage and very nice and communicative hosts.
Great stay! Location was âlessâ than ideal but the house took up for it. She even allowed us to have a late checkout! I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a place to stay
