'What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace.'

'Came up to LA for a weekend and tried this hotel. It was a great location, good rate and looked nice online. We really liked it and will stay there again. Had a great stay.
