« Property situated on quiet housing estate within 5-10min walk to beach. House just the right size for our group with 3 double bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, lovely south facing garden & good size lounge. Negatives are that all the floorboards upstairs are very noisy, as are the 2 showers, to the extent that they couldn't be used if people were sleeping. We also found a pair of secateurs on the wall outside which was a massive concern as our 5 year old granddaughter was with us! The keyholders...

« Adorable and quirky little house, oozing with character. Comfy beds, great location for local shops and restaurants, and as a base to explore the area. Only slight negative for us was getting used to town noises as we live in a village. The Combat Collection at Cobatton, and Instow beach (both recommended by the host) are worth a visit, and my boys (16 & 14) loved outdoor laser tag at Survival Combat Games. »

« We had a great time at Sea La Vie. It's a fab location, just sit outside to hear the sea and waves coming in, and that's pretty much all you can hear apart from the odd seagull! It's so quiet. Great base for a relaxed surfing holiday. Really well equipped kitchen. We didn't get in the car once in 8 days as there was everything we needed within a short walk. Highly likely we'll be back! »

« My family (6 adults and 5 children) stayed at Westward Ho!me between 25 May and 1 June 2024. The house is stylishly decorated, extremely comfortable and very well-equipped. It is and ideally located for the beach at Westward Ho! which is a safe walk across Northam Burrows of a 5-10 minutes. « Had a fabulous stay at High Park, house is perfect for a large group, kitchen a brilliant area and plenty of rooms to take yourself off for quiet time, bedrooms spacious and bathrooms very clean. Pool area a great place and booking system worked perfectly, and lots of garden space too! »

« We were welcomed on arrival by Anne-Louise. She gave us lots of useful information about the area. Paul then gave us a further tip about a great beach. The accomodation was lovely, the area very quiet but with excellent facilities nearby - including a large supermarket and shopping village. « The property was perfect for a couple and dog. Close to amenities and beaches, but also rural with lovely views. The barn has been converted to a high spec, with modern fixtures and fittings, and plenty of room to spread out. The pool is an added bonus. Everything was sparkling clean and communication over directions and check in was clear and easy. »
