The Rhodie House is situated in a peaceful, well-established community with incredible views and yet surrounded by trees and nature lending to the privacy you will feel when staying at this house. For hiking and nature enthusiasts, a 300 acre nature preserve with walking paths is at the top of the mountain, less than a mile away. Perfect for families or couples looking to enjoy all the entertainment Asheville has to offer as well as peace, relaxation and inspiring mountain views. Tony and I live 30 minutes north of this house so we are always available to address any questions or issues that may come up.

There is a large, screened in three-season porch with TV, ceiling fans, plenty of seating including an authentic German beer hall table/benches, festive lighting, gas firepit and a bar for entertaining and relaxing and long range mountain views. Additionally, there are two outdoor decks, both with mountain views, one on the lower level and one on the main level. Fully fenced side and front yard with direct access from the house. Central heating and A/C throughout the house. Main level outside deck has a propane grill and a brand new 6-7 person hot tub. The well-equipped kitchen has all modern stainless steel large appliances: dishwasher, microwave, electric stove/oven, coffee makers (a Keurig AND traditional coffee maker) and basic spices. The rustic farmhouse dining table seats eight comfortably. The living room has a gas fireplace , plenty of comfortable leather seating, a bistro table at which to enjoy your morning coffee and a 55" TV with Netflix.
Just off the living room is the peaceful sun room with windows on three sides and more amazing views! The main floor has two bedrooms: the master has a king size bed, 40" flat screen TV and two closets . The 2nd main floor bedroom has two twin beds. Full bathroom with double vanity is in the hall leading to the bedrooms. Lower level has large king bedroom with an attached bathroom and 2nd downstairs bedroom with queen bed and sliding door to outside deck. Large family room is downstairs with comfy leather seating as well as a 9' shuffleboard table, board games, large, cozy electric fireplace and TV with 50' TV with Netflix. Laundry room has full size washer/dryer.

All bedrooms and living areas have ceiling fans. Only 100% cotton bed and bath linens are provided. Dog friendly (please, no cats), you can bring your canine buddies -up to two for a $75 dog fee. Front and side yard is fully fenced for your convenience and your pup's safety. For those who can’t leave the tech world behind, the cabin has wireless WiFi and cell phone service at the cabin is reliable. Lively, downtown Asheville is less than 20 minutes away and has an abundance of shops and Art Galleries and its restaurants are world famous. Asheville is Beer City USA with over 30 breweries! Sierra Nevada is only minutes from this house.
On the south edge of Asheville, you're minutes from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway with its many trail heads and spectacular views. Hendersonville Road has multiple restaurants and shops within 5 minutes of the house. Biltmore Park outdoor mall has PF Changs, Louella's BBQ, Brixx Pizza and a number of other popular restaurants and shopping destinations as well as a 15 screen movie theatre. Biltmore Village and Estate is a short 15 minute drive. Hiking, rafting, waterfalls, world class fishing and zip lining is in all directions.
