Scenic Getaway: Cozy with Hot Tub, Fast Wifi, Serene Pond View, Close to Town

One of six LUXURY cabins on 25 acres of property. This charming cozy log cabin nestled in Highrock Acres, with a bonfire pit, large pond, horseshoe pit, hammock, picnic tables, long creek and walking trails with all the comforts of home. It's a perfect getaway for those that love nature, while still only minutes to quaint historic downtown black mountain and very close to Asheville, and dogs are welcomed. This cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a loft, log fireplace, 2 flat screen televisions with DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, free long distance, free internet service and a large covered deck with jacuzzi & gas grill overlooking the lighted fountain in the pond. Perfect location for multiple families and/or groups traveling together - see also Highrock Preserve and Highrock Retreat all within walking distance to this cabin.

During mid December through the month of February, we do require 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive in case of snow and ice conditions. We can never predict the weather and some years it's hit or miss.

We thoroughly clean and wash all bedding and towels between each stay. We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our guests stay safe by cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces as well (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in!

Outdoor recreation and outdoor adventures are seemingly endless in the Western North Carolina mountains, the outdoor playground of the Southeast along with the conveniences of city life. Acclaimed by numerous magazines as a top outdoor adventure destination. Take a walk through historic downtown Black Mountain and discover numerous upscale gift shops, galleries and Appalachian-style craft stores. From the most upscale cuisine to country cooking and BBQ, the area is home to over forty restaurants sure to please any palate.

We enjoyed our time in Black Mountain and at the cabin a ton! Great location off the beaten path, but not too far a drive from the town. And the host was super responsive to a call we needed to make for help with something in the cabin! We definitely plan to keep this cabin in mind for our next trip to Black Mountain!!! :)

Great cabin that’s secluded and private yet still only 15 minutes to the heart of downtown Black Mountain. Decorated for Christmas which is always a plus this time of year. Would definitely stay again!

This cabin is just perfect. It's beautiful, cozy, well maintained, and clean. Check in was a breeze, the hot tub was crystal clear, hot, and bubbly. The fireplace was simple to use and added perfect warmth. I can't say enough good about this tucked away piece of heaven. The host was immediately available for our questions.

Escaped the August heat in Houston at this cabin. Was around 70 degrees just about every day. Loved the fireplace, well water, and mountain air. Kitchen had all necessary appliances and utensils.Black Mountain is a nice mountain town with good shopping and restaurants.Even saw a black bear and her cubs.

Nice Cabin/Annoying Check out

In order to reach this cabin you have to drive down a very steep gravel road for 15-20 mins. Keep in mind that this property is very remote. You also have to wash all of your towels, which is quite irritating when you are staying at a vacation rental. The cabin is charming, and the hot tub is a nice bonus feature as well.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin had everything you need for a great stay. It was a bit chilly when we went and we enjoyed using the fireplace. My son enjoyed spending time by the lake with the fire pit. I like that it is secluded and only one other cabin next door. Surprisingly DoorDash delivers there lol. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

It was a fantastic stay.First time we have been in black mountain. The property is absolutely fantastic. The cabin was absolutely fantastic.The area is absolutely fantastic. Brought our four wheel drive Bronco. I had no problems getting up there. It was our twenty fifth anniversary, and we had a wonderful, wonderful time! So peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast and Cards out on the porch. Cooked Breakfast and Dinner entire stay. This place has everything you need. Hot Tub was perfect! Master Bed extremely comfortable. And last but not least the Fireplace making the perfect end of day. A Top shelf stay!

Girls Mountain Trip

The location and scenery here was fabulous! About 30 minutes from our Biltmore trip and Ashville shopping trip! Just a few minutes away from the Black Mountian shops, which we liked better than the Ashville ones. The Cabin was absolutely Beautiful and could not have been anymore perfect! The location was exactly what we were looking for!Thank You so much for letting us use iur home away from home!

Very Enjoyable Cabin

My wife and I enjoyed this cabin and area very much. Everything in and around the cabin is well-maintained. Everything we needed was there so the was no need to call the property manager. We would recommend this cabin this cabin for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We will probably book again next year. We also loved Black Mountain and Chimney Rock.
