« We had a get together with family who haven’t seen each other in several years. The house was perfect for us as it had plenty of space, lots of bedrooms/bathrooms, making it a very comfortable stay even with a large group. The communication with the property manager was great! She was responsive and very nice! I would recommend this house! »

« Ultimately the cottage seems to be a home to the owners how they like it. Cosy, practical & functional. Absolutely fine for us and accurately described - location really good & parking great for 1 vehicle we have a discovery and no problem. We took a fire stick down but you can’t link that up to the network, which was unusual- no porch for wet stuff, but you can see this from advert so again prepared for it. Anyway really enjoyed stay and would book again. »

« We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the cedars. Too much to write to will do a bullet point review. Pros - location is so wonderful. Amazing to have Windermere as a back garden! - size of property and rooms perfect. Loads of space to relax and enjoy inside. « Very pleasant and spacious barn and exceptionally well equipped. Lovely and clean, and in a great location close to all the village amenities and several historic properties, as well as to some wonderful walks. A particular feature is the open plan lounge which has skylights that make it feel very light even on dull days - and the badger feeding was great fun! « Everything we could want and need for a great holiday in the Lake District. The cottage was comfortable, clean, with comfortable beds and bedding, warm and quiet. It had everything we needed to cook when we didn't eat out in one of the many pubs and restaurants that can be found. Great location for walking in the Lake District. Can walk from the cottage. No walking maps or books in the cottage but the property company offered us these if we needed them and they were located a very short distance...

« Lovely cottage, compact but enough space for two of us and our furry friend. The outside space was perfect for Sasha. There is some road noise but it didn't stop us sleeping well. A little further from Ambleside than we thought though it is walkable. We would stay here again. »

« The house was excellent. The skies holiday host left a lot to be desired ! There were things broken in the property. He didn’t fix them and wanted to charge 20 pounds for an hour later check out - ! Which quite frankly when you are paying a lot for a holiday home is outrageous - especially as we knew there was no one else booked into the house. Such a shame because the house was amazing and we had a lovely time but that customer service would have made all the difference if it had been good. »
