'A warm welcome to a great little place Spacious room ,fantastic shower ,very comfortable bed Superb breakfast Highly recommended'

'Perfect location. We had snow which made our stay different than anticipated and still very good. It was only a bit hard to find the first time we arrived. York is crowded but very nice. '

'Beautiful accommodation. Friendly staff. Great price including a wonderful breakfast.'

'Dat dit hotel een 9.6 krijgt is het totaal niet! Te oud en douchen in een bad kan gewoon niet meer. Prijs kamer was zeker 25% te duur!'

'A great place to stay with very helpful and pleasant staff.'

'Was a beautiful stay, the room was really clean, the property well maintained. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again or advise anyone to stay ☺️ thankyou!'

'We only stayed at Ashbourne House for one night and it was very nice. Lovely room with a Comfortable bed, great shower and towels. Plenty if tea and coffee, and if you ran out you could get more from a dish on the landing also a sweet treat if you needed it, which I thought was a nice touch. It was a bit away from restaurants and the main shopping but public buses stopped just down the road and was easy to catch and came regularly if you didn’t have a car. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...

'Het is een leuke, goed gelegen locatie. Het stadscentrum is op loopafstand (20 minuten) en het station is ook dichtbij. De eigenaren zijn ontzettend aardig en heel hulpvaardig. Nadeel was het bed; voor ons was het matras te zacht en wat kort. '

'Prachtig, chique en stijlvol hotel; prima ontbijt en diner'

'Clean room and free parking'

'The room and hotel worked for what it was offering! I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful, but the door to the room I was staying in wasn’t working properly so I did run into some minor issues there. Other than that, it was very smooth sailing! Would recommend!'
