'It was a welcome surprise to discover Mopani Lodge. We are full-time travelers who last-minutely reserved this lodging to see the falls. We had no idea what to anticipate, but I could tell they were top-notch from our first email exchange. When I originally inquired about getting from the airport to the resort, we quickly received an answer. The quick response time is really uncommon. 'Decent hotel. Good breakfast. Nice big room, but unfortunately very warm which disturbed our sleep. We wanted to see the Unesco site with roman ruins in Djemila - but a guy in the reception told us not to go, he said we had to be in a group to be let in. They should not say so to their guest, because we tried to go anyway and had absolutely no problems to get in. '

'We had a fabulous stay at the farms cottage and were welcomed with complementary sourdough bread and yummy spreads. It is very nicely decorated, spacious and comes with a hot tub that is lovely at night time - I never saw so many stars before. We had their on-site dinner the first night: my 3 year old daughter nearly finished the entire piece of lasagne as it was so yummy.
