Appartementen in Zürichsee

'Es ist ein wunderschönes und grosszügiges Apartment mit sensationellem Ausblick, Bad mit Dusche, zwei Toiletten, voll eingerichtete Küche. Allerdings war’s etwas heiss: es gibt keine Klimaanlage nur mobile „Klimageräte“.'

'This was one of the most affordable properties we found in Zurich. The room we stayed in had one bed, a sofa couch, and kitchen. The space was exactly what we needed. The AC unit provided is one that uses a tube through a window, meaning you have to have the window open in order to use it. This wasn't a huge issue since it was a little chilly during our stay so we didn't have to use it the whole time. This building is near nightlife though, so just be mindful that if you do need to open a window...

'Clean 2 bedroom, 1 bath with kitchen apartment. Very close to the tram & bus station where you can catch no. 9 tram going to Old Town Zurich and no. 14 tram going Zurich HB where you can catch trams to Luzern, Bern, Interlaken and other cities. COOP grocery store is walking distance. There are restaurants and a pizzeria nearby. Laundry in the basement is very convenient if you are staying longer. I’ll stay again.'

However, the view from the room was incredibly beautiful and tempting. There was no shampoo and the unit was full of insects coming from the lake because there was no fan and you had to keep the window open all the time....

'The room would have been decent if it weren’t for the leaking air conditioning, broken door handle, lack of WiFi and no curtains. There is no reception or help available at the property, and to get in contact with the host you need to call a Swiss number (which simply is not possible with my phone plan and would have been expensive either way). Upon talking to some other guests, the WiFi had been out of service for multiple days. Would not recommend.'

'Excellent location! We enjoy staying in an area were restaurants and cafés are nearby and we were able to just go one floor down to find that. If you want a more quiet place, this may not be a good idea for you, but they closed the places at midnight, so it wasn't a big deal to us. You can choose if you want to keep the windows open or not. This property has everything you may need, including a washer with detergent provided, which we were specifically looking for, being that this was the half...
