'Everything was fantastic, 10 out of 10. The Shalet was spotless, it had a lovely wood fire and an electric heater. The rooms were all done in wood panelling, there was kitchen and laundry facilities and the spa bath was a lovely extra touch. Despite the rainy weather, we were very cosy and warm.'

'Stayed in the new rooms (Gordon) first night which were excellent. Second night we stayed in one of the older apartments with my brother and father. It was very basic but did the job. The restaurant area with fireplace, bar, lounge was great to chill out and enjoy the view across the lake. Food was good although they do share plates and it is a bit pricey for what you get. Overall the food was quite good.'
