Wilmington Family Vacation Home

This house and yard are spacious and fun. There is over 1500 sq ft inside and a large fenced in back yard with a new large deck, and a new double concrete driveway for plenty of parking space. The kitchen and dining room is newly remodeled. Everyone has room to relax and play inside and out, including children and dogs. It is in a quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors. Close to beaches, restaurants, and downtown activities. Relax back at home with a fun selection of family games. Don't forget about the Fireplace in the game room and a smokeless firepit off the back patios. More amenities are being added every season. You won't beat our prices for a comparable place. Plus, we will accommodate longer term stays or last minute bookings with adjusted fair prices to fit your budget. Let us know what you desire. Thank you, Todd and Liz Mallegni

We spent 5 weeks visiting our daughter and family in Wilmington this winter. This property was presented exactly as we found it. A very comfortable home in a quiet safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors and easy access to restaurants and shops. the house is well stocked with everything one could possibly need for a longer stay. Our host was easily available to answer any questions we had. Our grandchildren enjoyed the play structure and the fenced in back yard which provided safeplay for our dog as well as the grandkids.We would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing visit to Wilmington!

We enjoyed our stay! The backyard is great - it has games and multiple hang out spots. We had two families with kids staying there and it was nice to have access to toys inside and the yard space outside. Access was easy and beds were comfortable.

Great house that is centrally located in a really quiet neighborhood. Host was amazing and easily reached with questions. The house has plenty of room and every amenity one might need was thought of here. The yard is great too built to entertain friends, kids and pets. Amble bedding, seating and overall a great home away from home. Cannot wait to stay here again.

Wilmington stay

The property was beautiful! It was the perfect location between Wrightsville, and Carolina beaches. Also, equidistant to downtown Wilmington. Quiet and lovely neighborhood. Perfect for a family get away. The hosts are generous and provide a lot of beach necessities, and games for down time at the home. The location is also very close to grocery stores and other needed locations during a family trip. Would 10/10 stay again!

Well-equipped and family-friendly

Everything was up to expectations. The house is well-kept and especially well-equipped with amenities. We didn't feel like we had to run out for some little thing and could just make a grocery store run and be done. We were comfortable and the kids were easily entertained with indoor and outdoor options for play. The location was great for our purposes. This rental was a nice place to return to and relax after a day out, and in the evenings we were able to find babysitting so the adults could have some time off too.

The house was more than we expected. My family love the house and all the amenities. This house would be a perfect home to entertain in. The only issues we noticed that is no fault of owners is the water smell. We are not from the area so we had to get use to the smell of the water.

Excellent Stay

The house was clean, and nicely decorated - even with warm throws for an evening's reading on the sofa. There was a large living room with a big TV and a den with games, thereby giving a larger group plenty of "get away" spaces. There was a generous quantity of luxuriously soft towels and bath cloths. The ample herbs and condiments left by others were most helpful and appreciated. The large, bright kitchen was well-stocked with every conceivable pot and pan, including a slow cooker! Sitting on the private back deck to read or for a meal was a delight. The neighborhood was attractive and quiet. As a widowed woman, I felt safe.The beautiful and peaceful tucked-away location was close to Airlie Gardens, the Historic District, and the Cotton Exchange as well as shopping and restaurants.I hope to be able to stay here for another visit to Wilmington, NC!

Everything you need/want is here!

In addition to this place being clean, as advertised and in a terrific location it’s got what you need! Kitchen supplies were abundant (even spices, tin foil, containers). Stuff for kids - outs play area, inside toys, booster seat. Very private back yard with plenty of seating/shade.Even had Kleenex, extra towels, trash bags… treated like family!

Great stay!

This was a great place to stay in Wilmington! The house had everything we needed. We stayed for a full week and didn't have any issues. It was clean and welcoming. The check-in process and communication with the owner was great. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. It was only about a 15 minute drive to the beach and all the restaurants on the island. I took my dog with me and she loved the spacious backyard. The only thing I would add is that the mosquitos were pretty bad, so we couldn't stay out there for long periods of time. It could've just been the time of year or that it had rained a good bit before we arrived, but it may be a good idea to spray back there a few times a year. Other than that, the house was perfect for our stay! I would stay here again!

These Hosts Thought of Everything!

We were so beyond thrilled with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back to the same place. We were so impressed with everything provided, how thought out everything was. These hosts had things we didn’t even think to bring or realize we would have needed. Perfect for families. We stayed here with 4 adults and 4 children between ages 5-7. BY FAR THE BEST HOSTS EVER AND BEST PLACE WE’VE EVER STAYED!!! A home away from home.
