Warwick Neck Lighthouse

Heel gezellig hotel met een warm en persoonlijk onthaal. Je voelt je meteen welkom bij de familie die dit hotel runt. Het ligt ook op wandelafstand van bezienswaardigheden en restaurants, al ligt het wel aan een relatief drukke weg en loopt achter het domein een spoorweg (waar niet zo veel treinen langs komen trouwens). Het bubbelbad in de badkamer is echt wel een plus, hoewel misschien wat luid gezien ze al ietwat verouderd zijn. Het ontbijt bestond uit een muffin, koffie en fruit. Naar Europese normen eerder mager, maar voor Amerika wel een grote plus. We zouden zeker terugkomen voor het gevoel van welkom te zijn en de gezellige inrichting.

A Fantastic Stay That Felt Like Home This was one of the best and most enjoyable stays of my 11-day road trip through five new states: Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Delaware, and Connecticut, bringing my total to 45 states visited. It was a wonderful place to end the trip. What made this stay especially memorable was how personal and welcoming it felt. The hosts are genuinely wonderful people: warm, kind, welcoming, and very interesting to talk to. I really enjoyed our conversations. The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, less than a minute’s walk from a lovely lake, with a beautiful pond nearby. The area feels calm, quiet, and very safe, and parking is extremely easy. My second-floor room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Each room and the main entrance have electronic keypad codes, making everything convenient and secure. The common area is wonderful, with a beautiful view. I enjoyed relaxing there, watching Netflix, and getting some work done. It truly felt like having a living room away from home. Water, coffee, breakfast items, and other conveniences are thoughtfully provided. Everything is well cared for, but the hospitality is what makes this place special. I would absolutely stay here again. Five stars without hesitation.
