'The log cabin lodge is run by Sasaki San and his mum. Lovely people. The place was clean and very quiet. All we heard were the birds and great view of the lake. Sunset made the island shine and a rainbow to appear. Since the cabin is surrounded by nature, just keep the insect screens in place when the verandah doors are open and all is good. 'Enjoyed a nice long stay at Freedom Inn, the staff helped ensure I had a restful stay, and provided transportation to Hanazono for access to the slopes. For a small service fee the staff will pick up a take-out dinner for you if you would prefer to eat dinner at the hotel after a long day on the mountain.'

'Great budget option for skiing Niseko. Convenient shuttle options to the slopes and a 7-11 store across the street. Worked well for our family of four adults to share a quadruple with 2 bunk beds. Shared and very clean bathrooms were available. Also enjoyed the free breakfast. Highly recommend!'

'Ideal base for skiing in Grand Hirafu, with ski in/ski out access to the Ace Family Lift and location is walkable to a good variety of food, shopping and ski hire options, as well as the King Gondola and Hirafu Welcome Centre. Staff were friendly and helpful, and buffet breakfast hit the spot each morning. Onsen was lovely after a day on the slopes too! We loved the view from our room, watching people ski down the Family Run. Would stay again and highly recommend. '
