Nightmare don’t stay here
Nightmare and Traumatized are the words that come to mind. The hotel and facilities are nice and we enjoyed them. Nevertheless, our first night of sleep was interrupted at 3:55am with two large heavily intoxicated men standing at the foot of our bed, in our room!! That’s right! The hotel gave them a key to our room. No physical altercation happened, but it could have. It was difficult to get them to leave in an undressed state. The night staff was dismissive and no help, they even called me a liar. They said come back tomorrow and talk to us. There were major issues with the staff not willing to listen and find out what we needed. In the end, we did not get out questions answered, why did this happen, how are you going to fix this, when were they given a key to our room? The CO and day shift front desk spoke with us and offered us a free lunch for our trouble or a free night. There are many things we still don’t know other than the fact we could not sleep our second night because of the trauma.

Fantastiskt hotell i Tirana.
Vi har återkommit till detta hotell många år på grund av den fantastiska atmosfären, den utmärkta maten, goda servicen och den överdådiga designen. I år kunde vi för första gången använda hotellets SPA (ingick i priset), vilket vi uppskattade väldigt mycket. Detta är garanterat inte den sista gången vi kommer till Xheko. Hotellet ligger mycket centralt i bästa området i Tirana med restauranger, barer, caféer och klubbar på gångavstånd. Mycket tryggt boende.

Lovely hotel but cleaner issue
We had an almost-perfect stay at Xheko Imperial, save for one major problem. The cleaning person threw out my birth control pills while she was cleaning our bathroom, which caused a major issue. The staff helped me find new birth control at a pharmacy but it wasn't the same formula so this caused a big impact for my husband and my vacation. Besides this problem, the hotel was lovely. We especially enjoyed the spa (amazing massage!) and rooftop bar. I just wish they had more professionally trained cleaning staff because the birth control mess-up really was a huge stressor and one that I'm still dealing with now in transitioning back onto my normal pills.

Poor bathtubs, everything else was amazing.
We booked a suite with bathtub only to realize that the bathtub doesn’t work. The staff wasted 2+ hours of our time checking the bathtub even though they didn’t seem to have any idea on how the bathtub works. We were only approved a room change after the hotel owner came and tested it. The bathtub in the other suite was throwing dirt whenever it was turned on even though on the outside it seemed clean. Several times we were told to wait 5 minutes which always ended up being 20-30 minutes without a single reply. We always had to re-call them. Very poor bathtubs, however everything else was amazing(especially the SPA).

One night in Tirana
The staff was very nice and helpful, they arranged my taxi to the airport. The service they used for the taxi was great, the driver arrived a few minutes early, was nice and professional. The hotel was very clean and in good shape. My only complaint is the bottle of white wine in the mini bar was very bad, i couldn't even drink it and i still had to pay for it. But overall, its a very pretty hotel, I would definitely stay there again.
