'Spent a week in the property. Great stay in a generous sized property. Less than 5 minutes from the beach. 5 minute walk from the town centre. Good range of shops and eating places in Newbiggin. Near park land which was ideal for the dog. House was well equipped. Good sized bathroom. Rear yard was a nice suntrap and very private. Good sized bedrooms and very clean.'

'Great house with nice views good parking opposite, very clean house comfy beds good kitchen with all we needed close to beach shops pubs and food. My grandaughter loved it as there was horses in the field and bats flying about feeding as soon as it went dark. We will be back soon'

'A lovely short stay. The property is accurately described. The view was amazing. Ajay was a really responsive host and communication was good. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a really enjoyable stay. '

'The Lilac Cottage is a beautiful, pristine,cleverly decorated home with a lovely garden. Comfortable beds, lots of books, washer/dryer, clothes drying rack and every appliance has a manual or instructions how to use it. 2 full bathrooms allowed our family of 4 to get ready quickly. The Millennium Garden is right next door. So peaceful. Convenient location, walk to everything.'

'Excellent venue with lots of parking. Very clean and spacious. This was a last minute booking and communication was poor. You don't get access instructions until you pay a waiver that costs either an additional £10 or £25 depending on what you choose. And then you have to chase to get it back. Sounds a bit of a con to me but I had no choice. Overall though the property was excellent, just let down by a poor letting agent in my opinion.'

"Wij hadden de ‘river view’ kamer: Een geweldige en ruime kamer met een fantastisch uitzicht op de rivier en een aantal bruggen. Heerlijke bedden! Koffie en thee beschikbaar en koelkast gevuld met drankjes gratis. Ontbijtbuffet heerlijk vers en heel uitgebreid. Hotel in centrum van de stad. Bij een probleem met parkeren werden we uiterst vriendelijk geholpen. Geduldig personeel wat echt probeert mee te denken. "

"Good bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Plenty of space. Very near to all restaurants and shopping mall and Grainers market. Parking available at the hotel at a first come first serve basis (200 meter further along). Not good: no dining/breakfast table! Old couch. Lamp in bedroom that did not go out. A lot of noise due to traffic until the late evening."
