'Old building; would prove difficult for disabled as no lifts. For us no problem apart from Room 227 being a distance away from Reception. Room n bed comfortable; we ate out in town which has a fantastic choice of restaurants n pubs. Good base, central location '

'An excellent team of staff. Nothing too much trouble and they all seemed to be happy in their work. It really does make a difference. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The hotel could do with a lift but because it is a listed building that’s not possible. Would recommend the hotel and we will visit again.'
