We loved our time at this property - we stayed for a month bc of a work project. The neighborhood is great. Beds are very comfortable. Sunny kitchen and easy checkin
The pictures in this listing are not all accurate. There are four units in this building and I believe photos were taken of the best spaces in each unit. The unit I stayed in was mostly accurate, however the main living area wasnât even close. There was one very hard couch that wouldnât have seated the four people that this unit sleeps. There wasnât an area rug or lamp as pictured. The eating area was about a 45 downward slope and didnât have any sort of climate control. My stay was in the winter so needless to say we didnât use the space. We were limited to eating at the island that only had two barstools. The walls and windows are very thin and you can hear all the noises from outside and other units. The listing also failed to mention that the laundry was shared and in the basement. This is an older building and you have to go all the way to the basement which had a low ceiling to get down where I had to duck so I didnât hit my forehead. I am an average height person. The basement also had uneven cement floors and the walls were what to be stone or concrete. The only positive thing I can say is that location was decent and I felt safe at all hours of the day.
I booked this apartment expecting to stay in something that looked like the pictures in the listing. Upon arrival, we received very detailed instructions on check-in, which is the only thing that deserves more than one star in this review.
Once we arrived, we noticed that the apartment was filled with stains and smells. We thought we could get past it for just a couple of days, but when going to bed and pulling back the comforter we noticed strands of hair and dead bugs in the bed. (I have pictures!)
Since this happened at 2am due to us getting in late for travel, the owner was not contacted until later that morning. We have gotten the run around with communication and them saying they would issue a refund.
Needless to say, we were driving around STL at 2:30am looking for a hotel. Do yourself a favor - book somewhere else!
Very nice to have 2 bedrooms vs hotel when traveling with a child/ren. Comfortable king beds and pillows, 1-1/2 bathrooms, 1 with 2 sinks so all can be getting cleaned up and ready at the same time.
Owners/managers were very attentive and got right back to us when we had to contact them. The issues were handled very quickly and we felt like they really cared and wanted us to have a great time at their place. Luckily when the code to get in building for some reason changed on us our nice new neighbors helped let us in so our daughter could take care of her bathroom emergency.
All the amenities were covered and nice to have a full kitchen. Close to highways, airport, shopping, zoo, children's museum, arboretum, Arch and downtown. Only 30 mins to Six Flags too. Closets in the bedrooms could use some love and cleaning. Their cleaning crew needs to step up their game as well, but I think all will be addressed.
We had an awesome time on our trip to St Louis; we did as much as we could fit in on a short weekend and got a perfect solar eclipse at Feather Hills Vineyard and Winery. I would stay here again if we came back into town. Thanks!
Nice place but not best for families with loud children.
We appreciated this place for our trip to St. Louis, It was clean and the right size. Management was very helpful and responsive. The only downside is that it is a second floor apt and the walls are very thin. If you have loud or rambunctious kids it may not be the place for you.
We enjoyed our stay, brief though it was (one night and out early the next day). Very helpful to have access to garage and flexibility with pets.
Owner prompt and responsive to any questions. Accommodations were upstairs apt that was clean, comfortable, not fancy, and perfect for our needsâeasily accessible for a family with pets.
Location in South City was great. Easy to get around and cute neighborhood and homes.
