'This is a lovely house right in the centre of Rye, in walking distance from everywhere. Despite this it is quiet. The house is beautiful and has everything you need.'

'I have stayed here several times and this was another excellent break. Also it is very important to me that the railway and supermarket are close by as I travel by train. Rye is very historical and I learned more about the town on this visit. There is so much to see. Also the Rye Harbour nature reserve is also a big highlight.'

'The Beach Hut is in a great location - really close to the beach, and a short drive from Rye and Hastings. The Hut was in great condition - very clean and the comfortable. The resort has lots to do (we had a lot of fun playing bingo!). Great for a family holiday or short break.'

'This is a very nice property. Very quirky. Large living/dining and kitchen combined. We stayed over Christmas and a tree was put up for us which was a nice touch. I understand the furniture has been chosen to fit in with what the owners are trying to achieve with the look of the property However I do have one complaint. For the amount of rental paid the sofas are appalling. Hardly any stuffing left in the seat cushions. Covered in throws which keep falling down and on one sofa the seat...

'From the moment you step in the doorway of this beautiful home, you know you've found something special. Jeani's gorgeous property is light, bright and eclectically quirky - an accurate representation of the Camber/Rye area. We visited for a family celebration with 6 adults, 4 kids and a dog, and the space swallowed us and more. With every bedroom having an ensuite, there was no fighting for showers, instead, it was a place of calm and serenity. A literal stone's throw from the beach for days...

'Having stayed in many places locally this is a great location but numerous issues ruined our stay. Arrival is anything but welcoming with the heating left off and taking in excess of 16 hours to get up to 17 degrees. A log burner is provided but single match we were left blew out on it's way into the stove! The stay was tortuous with a fridge which beeped solidly for the 5 days we were there, largely in unison with a fire alarm whose batteries were running out (unreachable for us). The bathroom...

'Just returned after a long weekend celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday. We were a party of 9 adults and 3 small children. The house was cosy and plenty big enough for us all. Happily stay there again, although we had to be super vigilant at all times as our grandson is only a year old and already walking, so the stairs and the fireplace were very hazardous to him. I would definitely recommend with older children. We were shown around the lambing sheds by Annie and saw some lambs being born....

'Leuk karakteristiek huis. Mooi ingericht voor alle leeftijden. Drukke weg voor de deur, geluid van de meeuwen is de eerste dagen even wennen. Het mooie dorp is op loopafstand. Dagjes weg geweest naar Brighton,London, etc was prima te doen. Kortom voor herhaling vatbaar.'

'We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Chris & Jenny en kregen alle uitleg die we nodig hadden. Het huis was op alles voorzien (bedankt voor het welkomspakket!) en voor de kinderen was het ook fantastisch om alles te ontdekken (Lego, Thomas de trein-set, buitenspeelgoed, strandspeeltjes, dvd's,...). Alle kamers zijn smaakvol en gezellig ingericht. In de keuken is alles aanwezig wat we nodig hadden. Een goeie uitvalsbasis om de regio te ontdekken én ideaal gelegen om na een daguitstap nog af te...

'Overall a nice property, there is quite abit of furniture in the house. This can be difficult if there is 10 people staying in the house, we had to keep moving stuff around to make surfaces available to use, which made me nervous in case anything got damaged. Really well located and close to the beach. Nicola was a very helpful host and responded quickly to messages'

'Top notch. Highly recommended in every way. Ample parking out front, very functional kitchen with a few coffee options, comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, 3 full bathrooms and generally well maintained and clean. We have visited Camber for the past 50 years. Good location.'

'Nice house. Very clean. Off road parking and garden with seating area a massive bonus. Very close to a great pub 'The Globe' but this does mean you can hear the refrigerator units from the bedrooms and people leaving. Rye a fabulous town with many great pubs and eateries'

'Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. Whilst not scared, I felt these had been on ceiling and edges for some time. However bed very cosy....

'We spent two very pleasant weeks in this atmospheric holiday home. We immediately felt at home. It was very pleasant to talk to Janet and Grant, they were always ready with interesting suggestions tailored to our needs. We enjoyed our walks in their beautiful garden. There is much to see in the area, especially for those who enjoy gardens and historic buildings, but there are also plenty of quiet and easy walks that almost literally start from their garden. Highly recommended!'
