Pensions in Ruanda

'For the price, perhaps a cold shower, no toilet paper and power sockets hanging off the wall is to be expected. The place was clean and in a reasonable location. Promise, the manager, was friendly during checking in, but sadly absent when required later on. This was important as another guest had an argument over the phone... shouting from around 9pm until 2.30am and resuming again at 7am. Asking repeatedly to cease had no effect and the hotel staff failed to intervene. It's a shame really as...

'Very friendly staff Clean Excellent location One of the best budget hotels in Kigali '

'The guesthouse is well located in the city. It has a small lush garden that create a peaceful place for breakfast or reading. Attentive and pleasant staff. Good value for the money'

'After reading how in the ghetto's in Africa, you have to be careful if you are white. We decided it was near airport as stated, but in a shanty town that was with even driving 10 minutes off the main road. There were no restaurants near, if we went out, we would have had to have an escort. It was the best home or business in the area that we saw. But...

'It was NO way a 3-Star hotel. '

'Amazing service, charming rooms, fantastic food. I went there after a gorilla trek and before hiking up Bisoke and they were fantastic. They helped arrange transport as well. Will absolutely be staying here again if I'm back in Musanze.'

It was like the living room is an extension of their office. I didn't appreciate it and tried enforcing privacy at some time and was told to just focus on my room. 2. I constantly had to remind the manager about internet disruption, electricity getting exhausted. If you are a business person, I would not recommend this apartment. 3. Janvier is a nice guy....

'The place and hotel room is generally clean. But the room can become stuffy easily. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good value for money considering the price.'

'It is not suitable for travelers. It is an old house converted in short stay, I had to leave my car outside scared that it could be broke in. I would not advise anyone to go there, it is very old. '
