Raymond Cape

I arrived earlier than check-in and called to ask if we could leave our bags at the Inn before check-in so that we could walk around the town. The staff member who answered the phone scoffed and repeated the check-in time to me. There was no visible staff at the Inn--they are based at the sister institution across the road. Likewise, breakfast was at that Inn diagonally across the road which does not sound like much of an inconvenience but the fact it was raining made it a mild negative (umbrellas were available). Some people may appreciate the breakfast but we found the square onion "quiche-like" warm offering undersalted and unappetizing. We were in the "Luxury Room" which was excellent but perhaps a bit overpriced.

De b&b is gevestigd in een oude Mansion en de renovaties zijn uitgevoerd met eerbied voor de oorsponkelijkheid. Luxe alom en ontelbare kleine attenties geven je als gast een goed gevoel. De sfeer is heel ontspannen, en het groot aantal “ returners” spreekt voor zich.
