Prairie Spirit Trail State Park

The restaurants were good, beds were hard air conditioning wasn't working right. We had to come back three times until almost 5 o'clock to get into our room. They weren't ready. Parking wasn't the greatest. had to walk a long ways in the hot sun.

Great location a couple blocks from power and lights. Super clean.

This hotel is in need of a major renovation. We chose it specifically because it had an outdoor pool, but the online photos made the pool look much more promising than it actually was. Overall, I would not stay at this property again. It was not the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, but it is not somewhere I would choose to stay again. Upon arrival, the entrance and main lobby had a distinct, unpleasant smell. The patio was in need of a major cleaning, and the patio sliding doors did not lock. The beds were comfortable, which was one of the few positives. However, the bathroom had several issues. The shower curtain had clearly not been changed between our stays, as it had visible stains and what appeared to be dried shampoo or another type of product on it. There was also visible mildew on the caulking around the tub surround. The faucet was literally rotting from hard-water buildup and what appeared to be years of wear and lack of maintenance. Overall, the property feels dated and poorly maintained. With the condition of the common areas, patio, bathroom, and pool, I would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.
