A Good stay in Penn Yan

The house was clean and spacious for our group of 13. The kitchen was fully stocked, the area was pleasant and safe, and it was close enough to shops and restaurants. Just a couple things that I wished I would have known: 1.They put out folded sheets for you to make the beds, including the 3rd floor beds that are all pushed against the walls making it difficult to make. I have never seen this before and was not a pleasant surprise after traveling 8 hours. 2. There are no locks on any bedroom or bathroom doors, so make sure you are vacationing with people who understand that a closed door means don’t barge in!3. Bring plenty of bottled waterOverall I would recommend this place to others.

Very Comfortable House for Family Weekend

My wife and I stayed at the house with our 3 grown children for a long weekend . The house is very spacious and provided ample family time but also privacy when needed. Everything was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. Great location with nice view of the lake.Highly recommend it!

We had a lovely time staying at this beautiful home in Penn Yan! The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The setting was peaceful and scenic—perfect for unwinding and enjoying time together. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Wonderful stay. Perfect house for a group of friends to gather. Beautiful lake views. Spacious bedrooms, plenty of space for large groups. Central location to all the wineries on Keuka and Seneca and not far from the towns either.

Cousins Weekend

Nine women, all cousins, spent a long weekend here and the house for our needs perfectly! We had plenty of space to spread out in when at the house and it was centrally located to the activities we wanted to do. We all agreed we would stay here again! That’s something ~ to have nine women agree!

Beautiful home with great hosts!

The home is exactly as it is described in the listing. Within close proximity to multiple vineyards, this house was perfect for our family. We were able to all gather in the living and dining rooms but there was ample space to retreat to if you needed some quiet time. The hosts were easy to contact and went above and beyond to accommodate our arrival and departure times.

Great Family Vacation House

Clean, well decorated house with lots of room for the entire family from ages 13 to 74 (and one fur baby). Stunning sunsets from the deck and lots of laughs around the fire pit. Owner was quick to respond to any concerns. House is on a sometimes busy street but SO convenient to wineries, Olney deli and downtown Penn Yan. A good time was had by all!

Great Home!

For a long weekend getaway with six adults, this house was wonderful! Two full bathroon, one half bath, lots of bedrooms. A great porch! Nothing to complain about at all! We will spread the word and be returning! ! ♄

Girls weekend

Great house. Lots of room. Just one teeny complaint there were quite a few flies but probably because of the gap under the door. Also my dog was attacked by a neighborhood dog and this has nothing to do with the owners of the home at all. Luckily she was just shaken up abd there were 4 of ys with her when it happened. We would definitely stay again and again

Nice house with lake view

Nice house with lake view! Our only complaint was the lack of mirrors as we had 14 girls getting ready for events, but otherwise we had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed the deck with lake view

Lots of room, accommodating manager

If you don't need to have your own beach and have lots of heads that need to find a pillow at night, this place fills the bill. It isn't fancy but it is well supplied. For example there are multiple coffee makers and more forks than almost any group can use. When our relatively elderly party (OK, we are all in our 70s or 80s) found one tub a bit slippery for showering, the manager promptly brought a rubber mat that eased our concerns with falling.

Family vacation

Every year I take the whole family, kids and grandchirdren ,somewhere on vacation to have some great family time and memories. We had a wonderful time together and the house had the space in case we needed quiet time. I would definitely rent this house again.

Just what we needed

This property worked well for our two young families to stay as we chased the solar eclipse. There were plenty of sleeping options, and plenty of space for us to dine together. We were bummed to not have walking access to the lake, but the view was great - especially of the setting sun! We could easily drive to a lake access point which was good.

Great Stay!

We had a great time at the house! Everything was clean and well kept and there was plenty of space for our group. Hosts were very responsive & accommodating when needed. Location was good and the view of the lake was great! Only downside of the house would be the lack of lake access if we were visiting in the warmer months- but overall great stay and would stay again.

Good hub for Keuka, Seneca and Cayuga Lake activities

Right on 54 about halfway between Penn Yann and Hammondsport. We visited many wineries and cideries on the 3 lakes mentioned above. Very convenient location. Plenty of space. Kitchen was great for making breakfast and dinner each day. Dog friendly. Felt like home.
