'Hotel just in center of Reykjavik, comfortable proper rooms. Luxury bathroom. Lots of restaurants on walking distance (5-15 min). Good breakfast. One disadvantage: there is no parking facility. We paid €80 each night in the nearby parking garage (advised / proposed by the hotel reception desk), that's an expensive parking.'

'Zeer vriendelijk personeel bij de receptie, in het restaurant en bij het ontbijt! Schone, ruime kamer met een fijn bed. Op deze zonnige dagen was de kamer (op de bovenste verdieping) wel wat warm. Restaurant en hotelbar waren van goede kwaliteit. Het ontbijt ook en had een ruim assortiment. De spa was ook boven verwachting.'

'Bij dit hotel zit je midden in het centrum zonder dat het gehorig is. Wij hadden een deluxe kamer die erg schoon was. Binnen 5 minuten ben je bij busstop 14, van waaruit je alle transfers neemt naar excursies, het vliegveld etc. Er is een bar in het hotel, daar miet je wel direct afrekenen. Ontbijt is oké, maar er is niets warms, dus ook geen omelet of toast. En niet echt variatie. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een verblijf in IJsland.'

'Nice, comfortable Candlewood Suites room, with ample room for 3 adults with a comfortable pullout bed. Hotel staff accommodated early checkin due my wife’s mobility issues. Hotel close to restaurants and shops. Like much in Iceland, the cost is “steep”! Enjoyed Iceland very much.'

'Erg goede en ruime kamers, erg netjes allemaal. Vrij warm op de kamer dat je eigenlijk met het raam open wil slapen, de straat is echter vrij rumoerig.. Ontbijt is super, personeel aardig en behulpzaam. Helemaal goed bevallen verder.'

'After parking in the Kolaport bílahús it was a short 5 minute walk to the hotel while looking at the boats in the harbour. The hotel has a bakery right at the entrance so we had to wait for people to move aside in the queue to walk past and get to the reception. Honestly this is the only remotely negative thing there is to say. The reception is very friendly, the interior is wonderful and it feels very safe as you need to use your keycard to access the floor. The room was spaceous, the beds...

'The Edition is a stylish hotel with a great design and atmosphere. However, don’t expect full 5-star service. There is no daily turn-down service, and housekeeping won’t make the beds or provide fresh towels unless you specifically request it. We had to call or flag staff each time, which was disappointing at this price point and brand level. Overall, it’s a nice stay if you’re okay being proactive about basics, but it falls short of the seamless luxury experience the name suggests.'

'Sort of mislead from internet info. Shared bathrooms with too many. Looks aged on outside. Cheaply done remodel. Shower too small. Too noisy from street people as you need to leave a window open. Info not relayed to phone properly. Never saw emails. I think k they went to Expedia maybe.'
