'I thought that this hotel was really great! It is a great place to stay if you are visiting Iceland and want to save money by cooking your own food. There is no staff, so if you want your room cleaned often and changed, this isn’t the place for you. The WiFi is absolutely terrible so if that is something you really need I highly suggest not staying here. There as some problems with a ton of hair attached to towels and what not, but I think that’s a laundry issue, not a cleanliness issue. This is...

'The customer service of this place is next to none. They provided a code that doesn’t work for one of the doors we had to go through and no one cared to fix it. We were lucky that someone else with a valid code opened the door for us. I reported the problem right away and no one came to fix the issue at all. The contact property messages were a joke since it solved nothing. We were forced to stay in the room the whole time of our stay fearing we won’t be lucky enough the second time we got stuck...

'So I really wanted to give this place five stars. Its location for the area was ideal, and the private room was excellent. Also, the check in process was perfect; however, the shared bathroom situation was a bit off-putting. Now, I’ve stayed at many locations with shared bathrooms so that wasn’t the issue. 'We found the apartment’s lighting was too dark because of dark color of walls and not enough of lighting fixtures. Besides the fixtures are spot lights type so that certain areas were not covered. No headboard lights. The room is quite decent and very clean. Ample space for two people. Location is quite good, closes to the freeway leading to downtown Reykjavik.'

'We recently stayed at this hotel. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. However, I was often woken up by noise from other guests during the night. The room felt a bit small, especially with two large suitcases and hand luggage — there wasn’t much space to move around. We also found there weren’t enough options to dry our clothes after a day out. Overall, a decent stay, but with some room for improvement.'
