'One of the best hotels in Shanghai, with a President's and Royal suite that has been used by the big and powerful people on Earth. A few years ago they were overbooked and I got the president's suit (in basic state, of course - if a real president would show up for sure all tapestry and so on would be changed). This time a normal suite. Hotel is somewhat ageing, but still top class - something you pay for, of course. All amenities and staff are flawless. Great garden. '

'Had a good stay in the hotel and we recommend it also for business travellers. It is not near downtown but close to the airport. The quality/price relation is good, the personnel is friendly. The breakfast is rich, but encountered that there were too many people in the morning, so no place. Had to wait till a table was cleaned and free. Efficient employees at breakfast. Rooms clean and nice. Nice view from the room to the mountains.
