'Lovely peaceful little cottage not far from the park and some essential shops. The birds were lovely to watch, we particularly enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. The place was comfortable and clean, with lots of thoughtful touches such as binoculars for bird spotting!'

'Everything about this place was nice. It was quiet, the owners were nice, the place was clean and well stocked with everything you might need for all but the most complicated of meals. There was plenty of space for our family of four…and plenty of space for us to place a cot as our kids are too old to share a bed. Would stay again in a heartbeat.'

'Excellent property to stay.Well kept. Host's did a very nice job with the home. Now the drawbacks. Getting to the property off the main road may leave you to question the surroundings. Secondly the kitchen lacked certain essentials.'

'The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were good. We had 2 grandsons and a granddaughter and they loved all the books and the foosball table. The family enjoyed the hot tub after being at the beach. '

The basement is designed with entertainment in mind (simulator golf, pool table, theater room). The hot tub temperature was perfect and the landscape provided a sanctuary for bird watching. 'What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. '
