The staff was professional, friendly and attentive. Property was well kept, rooms were nice and comfortable beds. Only issue we had was a defective toilet that was attended to but not resolved. I would suggest numbering parking spots to match rooms. Overall, the Marlo was outstanding and we would stay there again.

The young man at the front desk was very welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, and the bed was comfortable. The building was also very quiet, which made for a pleasant stay. There really aren’t many amenities—no pool, Jacuzzi, or anything along those lines. The continental breakfast was pretty basic, consisting mostly of packaged pastries and yogurt, along with a small amount of fresh fruit. It’s enough to get you going in the morning, but definitely not what I would consider a great continental breakfast. Overall, the hotel is nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable. One of the biggest advantages is the location. It’s within easy walking distance of both State Street and the beach—approximately a 10-minute walk to State Street and about five minutes to the beach
