NMB SOS Fall Migration on Main Street featuring SHAG events and nearby Barefoot Landing has concerts every weekend, with BOOFEST on Oct 25.

We decorate the Artist's Cottage for each season, so Fall pumpkins then for Thanksgiving and Christmas you'll have your own CHRISTMAS COTTAGE complete with a decorated Christmas Tree and Holiday Gifts in your Welcome Basket!

This newly updated property features 2 cozy bedrooms, a lovely living room with a love-seat, (pullout bed), recliner and dining for 6. Privacy blinds keep the rooms cool and private.

A shared bathroom with a large shower between bedrooms is just off the Laundry Room with Washer/Dryer/Iron and board. Amenities include central HVAC, private outdoor shower and back deck in the private fenced backyard for grilling, Roku TVs in both bedrooms and living room, guests can be comfortable, truly unwind and enjoy their stay.

Quality mattresses and Bamboo Cooling sheets will welcome you to bed after a day on the beach. The back bedroom features a Bamboo Memory Foam mattress and Bamboo Cooling sheets, the front bedroom has a hybrid Full Size bed, again with Bamboo Cooling sheets. The bedrooms do share the bath, but no worries, you are on vacation, what's the rush! And the roomy outdoor shower is private and has plenty of hot and cold water! New pullout mattress on the Sleeper/Loveseat also features comfortable Bamboo Sheets!! A self inflating Air Mattress is perfect for that one extra person, and is tucked away in the main bedroom closet.

You'll be surrounded by the works of local artists. Starting with a Hand Painted Settee on the screened porch, Move into the Open Concept Living area featuring an antique table and hand painted chairs. Extra stool seating at the Vintage Formica counter. Custom artwork on every shelf and wall.

A fully outfitted but compact kitchen features a "tiny house" drop-down Butcher Block counter, perfect for serving meals and then folding out of the way. The stove and fridge are compact but perfectly sized for cooking a gourmet meal! Everything you could need, prep tools, dishes, silverware, and glassware are included, just bring the Chef! Coffee maker (k-cup), Blender, Toaster, mixer, and microwave, all supplied.

Outdoors the back yard is fenced. A small deck is complete with a Charcoal Grill (supplies in the shed). We've even supplied 3 beach lounge chairs, a cooler and a small wagon for transporting gear the short walk to the beach. Coming back from your swim and sun, hop in the private outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off the sand!

Bringing pets? We are pet-friendly and provide a completely fenced, grassy area for them when they need a little outdoor privacy. Plenty of room to hang out with the pets. We've included a large traditional wooden picnic table. But be careful of heat and sun for your "kids".

May 15 - September 15 NMB rules restrict pet beach time to 5pm to 9AM. This is for their safety as hot sand can burn feet! The sun doesn't set here until about 8:30 pm so lots of time for them to dig and play in the water. But all winter is open to walk your pets all day and let them play!

Artist's Cottage is a quick drive to attractions like Barefoot Landing, Tanger Outlets and downtown Ocean Drive, home of the SHAG and Vanna White! Golf courses, local bars, theaters, bowling all just minutes away down Highway 17. You can actually walk to Breakfast restaurants and excellent Mexican. There's a favorite local , Bar 19 Twelve at the end of 20th Ave, walking distance along with their Tapas Restaurant, Bin 2004 are perfect for a classy night out! Just an easy walk is Molly Darcy's on the beach. GREAT shrimp, sports bar and in summer all the beach sport rentals happen right in front of their outdoor dining deck.
