Woonboten in North Austin

'The woman at the front desk was very personable, helpful and kind. The hotel was smelly - a sour odor- the linens seemed fresh- the beds were comfortable- the rooms were dark and outdated- the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned- the baseboards were dusty and there was hair on the floor. Will not return. Only stayed because it was late and we were on the road. Definitely not worth $150. We didn’t stay for breakfast- was too nauseous to think about it.'

'Nice, spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Easy parking in their garage (they give you a permit to display on your dash). Good breakfast. Only 2 donwsides I can think of: 1. the breakfast ends too early (10am would be better) and we were there for 16 nights and our room was never fully cleaned. We had to request it (and they seemed to be surprised by my request) and even then only the sheets were changed. They didn't vacuum or clean the bathroom. I don't know about you but at home I don't go...

'AC went out the second night of my stay and when we went downstairs to talk to the lady at the front desk about it she was rude and dismissive. We were told at first that the best that could be done is that someone could come look at it in the morning. Thankfully Bobby (the only helpful person in the building) was able to come replace the unit later on in the night. It was extremely hot that night and the lady at the front desk should have been more helpful considering we told her that my wife...
