'Main building is restored Vermont-style. Looks really nice and includes a good restaurant (good menu, friendly staff, reasonable prices). Motelrooms are clean and spacious from the inside and - we guess - are getting an exterior update. '

'The Inn is located at the bottom of Vermont’s tallest mountain, putting it smack dab in the middle of hiking, boating, tourism and beautiful places. Stowe, over the hill. Ben & Jerry’s, a bit more down the road. Ice cream, walking distance. Skiing, Smuggs is ten minutes. The Inn is creaky, classic and 100% Vermont. Breakfast is included and delicious. We highly recommend the experience.'

'This was our second stay at this historic, lovely & comfortable inn. Our room #2 had a king size bed & a separate sitting area which could have accommodated another adult or small kids on a foldout cot in the closet. Furnished with a mix of contemporary & vintage furniture. Very clean. Showers have great water pressure. The mini breakfast in the inn’s bar/restaurant includes delicious homemade muffins. The restaurant is open for dinner—only on Thursdays & Fridays at present. The area is semi...
