'Breakfast was good. Did not have time to trythe pool or gym'

'Breakfast buffet had issues - coffee seemed to be in short supply and the sausage patties were burnt and inedible (unless you like hockey pucks). Wi-fi was wonky - had to reboot computer twice before it worked and had the same problem the next morning. Having to use keycard for elevator is annoying (especially when hands are full). Seems to be a new hotel which is not quite ready for prime time'

THEY BRAG ABOUT THEIR CLEANLINESS BUT CLEARLY STATE THAT THEY WILL ONLY CLEAN YOUR ROOM ONCE A WEEK! IF YOU NEED ANYTHING BEFORE YOUR CLEANING DAY, YOU MAY REQUEST AT THE FRONT DESK. REMEMBER TO TELL THEM THE DAY BEFORE YOU NEED ANY ROOM CLEANING SO THAT YOU CAN GET ON THEIR...

'Clara at check in was amazing and so sweet, helpful and accommodating! I arrived late with a little one and her help was amazing and got us settled in quick and seamlessly. Big shout out to Clara and will definitely come back here!'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'Room was very clean! Beds and linens were great. Grounds were not taken care of. We stayed there because of the pictures of the tennis courts, shuffle board and putting green. None of that is operational or there any more for at least 10+ years. Great location where you can walk to Kings dominion. But trash everywhere outside and run down. Dog poop, dirty diapers, broken glass and trash.'

'The property overall was clean and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and also very clean, with comfortable beds and a sizable bathroom. Microwave and refrigerator are included in the rooms, along with a freezer slot in the fridge.'

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'
